Chief Scout Expedition

Over the weekend 19th - 21st June.
Nine of the unit went to do the chief Scout Platinum Award Expedition.
Our plan was to walk from Crail Harbour to the castle at St Andrew's.
We set of nice and early to get a good head start. It was easy going to start with as we went through the Golf Course's.
As the morning went on we started to slow down. It was then dinner time at we sat down for our luxury lunch at Campo sands(Well down to sandwiches at least).
Things were going ok till the last climb of the day when disaster struck(The old man(Barrie))got cramp.

He hobbled on to the beach at St Andrews were he was picked up and taken up to the castle. Our home for the night was at the Scout hall in St Andrews.
With Barrie out of action he had to go and get his car during the night, while the rest bedded down for the night. On the Sunday it was part two of the walk and the explorers made good time up to Leauchars and the train station.
Where they caught the train(One hour early) back to Inverkeithing.
