st george's Camp

Over the weekend 24th - 26th April.
It was Rosyth District's St George's Camp.
Groups from the District got together to camp for the weeeknd.

On the Friday night the Explorers did rope work in which they made rope belts or keyrings or even in some cases head bands.

On the Saturday morning they worked with the cubs doing Backwood cooking and the communication badge.
In the afternoon when the beavers came up they were split up into teams with Beavers/Cubs and Scouts and did activities and bases as teams.

On the Saturday evening the District Explorers went away to cowdenbeath to watch the Stock Car racing.

On the Sunday we had a go at the BMX Trial's on site.

In the afternoon before heading home we had our service and renewed our promises.

The weather was great until the last 1hr when the heavens opened.
But we were lucky as all our canvas was down by that time.
